Passport Information

We recommend applying for your passport at least 6 months prior to travel.  For many destinations, passports must be valid at least 6 months from the date you will arrive back into the US.

Applying for TSA pre check is easy, and approval times are quick.  Once approved, your pre check is valid for 5 years.  Depending on your children's ages, they might be able to accompany you in the pre check line for no additional fee.

Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. This program requires an in person interview before enrollment. Travelers have the option to complete their interview via "enrollment on arrival."

Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals to enroll their trip abroad so the Department of State can accurately and quickly contact them in case of emergency. Signing up for this program will take about 15-20 minutes and can be done online.

This mandatory requirement will provide visitors permission to travel to and through the United Kingdom. This includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. All visitors who do not need a visa will require an ETA to travel to the United Kingdom, as well as transit through the United Kingdom.
